Review: Ecchi = Hentai? Think Again

SO.
Many of us, as in NMH anime viewers, know what ecchi is about.
I was anticipating this Spring-season ecchi works.
This Spring, surprisingly, two new ecchi-themed anime came out.
Hoshizora_e_Kakaru_Hashi & Oretachi_ni_Tsubasa_wa_Nai
Now. Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai was crazy, all over the place, and confusing. It is great for people who are just trying to watch something that is full of fan-service. Although I do enjoy occasional "slip-touch", and "opps-i-saw-your-XX" I am not that crazy about them so I undervalued "Oretachi ni ...".

However, Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi was & is a pretty good ecchi with smooth plot. It lacks its "ecchi-sense" because of the shortages of perverted scenes, but the plot is what's important. The plot starts out pretty randomly, when this guy moves from a city environment to somewhere in the countryside of Japan (typical, yes). Even with minor and limited ecchi scenes, this anime caught my attention.

This anime seems like its adapted from galge, instead of eroge, but that's up for the producers and seiyus, not me.

So I ask now, why not enjoy a humorous, subtle ecchi anime instead of a full-blown-close-to-hentai ecchi series.

well i think, ecchi is a very big and prosperous genre, if played right

of course, there are the one piece naruto bleach of this genre, which gets extremely boring after the same formula gets repeated again and again.

what makes up any gd anime... this list can go on forever, plot, art, BGM, style, but i think most importantly it comes down to 2 things

1. innovative creativity (with the courage to try)
2. consideration of the viewer audience instead of ur salary/wage.

but realize it's done for the comedic value, to entertain the crowd with their bitching and moaning :)
